Intra-Oral Camera
When was the last time you actually saw the cavity the dentist told you that you had? Probably not often! Even with all of the mirrors, lights and tools that are commonly used, patients rarely have a clear picture of their dental health. That is all changed with our intra-oral camera technology. A tiny camera at the end of a pen-sized wand takes detailed, real-time photos of your mouth and sends the images directly to a computer monitor so you can follow along as the dentist explains the problem and the treatment options.

Fillings
We offer a variety of materials in order to achieve proper restorative results. The location of the restoration, size and aesthetic appearance are all factors when choosing a material for direct placement. Materials are always discussed with Dr. Dunbar prior to the placement of the restoration. The following materials are available to our patients: alloy (metal), composite (tooth colored) and gold.

Onlays and Crowns
A tooth that is compromised due to decay, broken enamel or large fillings may require a full coverage restoration. Onlays and crowns are porcelain, zirconia, or gold material that restore tooth function as well as stabilize dentition.

1-Visit Crowns, partial crowns and Veneers with CEREC
With CEREC technology there is no need for impression materials or trays. The camera captures the area to be treated with complete accuracy. The dental prosthesis is then created as a 3D model on the computer. The restoration created on the computer is subsequently milled from a ceramic block. The finished ceramic restoration is inserted just a little while later.
